Budd Landscape Design offers a range of services from initial concepts through to planting design, approvals, documentation and project administration.

Stage 1

Consultation

The first step is a face to face design consultation to discuss your vision and to understand the site and architecture. This helps us establish the scope of the project and prepare a tailored fee proposal for the design services required.

Concept Design

Development of the overall layout and direction for the garden including spaces and circulation. We consider and design all external applications including pools, cabanas and pergolas, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, seating and terraces.

3D Visualisation

Three-dimensional imagery brings the design to life, giving you a clear understanding of the space, scale, levels, materials, planting and the overall atmosphere of the garden. It is an invaluable visualisation tool for clients who find 2D plans difficult to interpret.

Approvals

We handle the approval process from start to finish, preparing required landscape documentation for Development Applications or Complying Development; and coordinating with consultants and council on your behalf.

Landscape Documentation

A detailed set of plans to communicate dimensions, levels, materials, planting and construction information. These plans can include lighting plans, set out plans, materials schedules and construction details.

Planting Design

Fully customised planting plans tailored to your site that consider form, texture, colour, seasonality, climate, soil and maintenance requirements.

Stage 5

Project Supervision

Ongoing design input throughout construction to help resolve details, answer questions and ensure the landscape is delivered in line with the original design intent.

Procurement

Procurement and supply of key elements including plants, pots, cushions and other selected items to ensure the highest quality and consistency of the final result.
